Urb597

what would a nverse agonist c do? I am quite i interested in CB-25 because I think people say CBD is anverse agonist CB-25 is a stable analog of Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and anandamide (AEA). It exhibits high affinity for the central cannabinoid (CB1) and peripheral cannabinoid (CB2) receptors with Ki values of 5.2 and 13 nM, respectively. CB-25 behaves as an inverse agonist for the CB1 receptor as assessed in a cyclic AMP (cAMP) functional assay.1,2

Thanks for the tutorial. I had no idea what URB597 was until I read this. An AD that works by increasing endocannabinoids in the brain makes perfect sense to me. IMHO, weed is far more effective than any of the 5-7 ADs I've been prescribed. Is medical mj legal in Canada?

4th day on this.
5mg orally.

-great mood
-strong motivation
-clear mind
-antianxiety
-social drug
-better sleeping

Works whole day.

wow so 5mg orally means ? In a Gellcap ? or in water like that ? What is the method ?
Swim had his hand on some of this URB...And dont know how to dose it...5 mg seems fine. SWIM will say more in few days

what would a nverse agonist c do?

As pointed out in another thread, it would probably be similar to rimonabant, which doesn't sound much fun.

^Orally means you eat it, however the hell you want :p But I don't know if I'd trust the 1 post guy who suggested that...

Orally, take powder on finger, put under tongue, then some water.
It won't get you high but it definitely works.
I guess 3-5mg it's optimal for the first time.

Of course you can't trust me.
I'm consider urb597 as a good drug (so far) so I just wanted to share my opinion about it.

That's fine, it's just a bit suspicious when someone joins a forum to say how great this new drug is. Not saying you're not legit, I really don't know. But I'd advise anyone who is going to try this stuff to be really careful, and start with a much smaller dose than suggested, as there is probably (AFAIK, and I don't know much about it) almost nothing known about this drug.

hmm, got a sample of this... did an allergy test of a bit under 1mg to see if any adverse reactions. none so far, actually no reactions at all. might go for a dose ~1,5mg in the near future, however im not expecting much really, perhaps going for slight mood enhancement if it will allow.

It will not enhance your mood literally.
It's blocking bad thoughts, anxiety and increase motivation.
That's what is does.
I think 3mg it's the minimum to fell anything (after 30-60min).

Here is a quote about URB597.

"For me after first researchers it works perfectly as relax and sleep enhacer at the evening. After oral 1-2mg for my rat he was sleeping after 30min with nice morning , good funny mood :) also his apetite went up! SO IT CAN BE GREAT FOR ANY KIND OF DEPRESIONS or "AFTER E" for fast recovery, +APETITE UP AFTER ANY STIMULATION !

After 5mg rat was sleeping really hard! Almost impossible to move and turn off light and tv in middle of night...really sleppy and lazy....at morning he was also lazy for 2-3hours after clock alarm. "

also, this person does have some incentive to be biased about it. FYI
I'm sure more reports will come in the next few weeks.

Due to the fact that your experience with this URB597 seems similar to many effects of jwh and associated synthabinoids, I think that you should verify that you have the right chemical.

A study on the effects of URB597 on the sleep/wake cycle of rats showed entirely different responses than you reported.
" increased wakefulness and decreased slow wave (SW) sleep in rats in a dose-dependent fashion.

...

These findings indicate that that inhibition of the FAAH, via URB597, modulates waking."

A few days ago, I received this chemical from a reliable US source that supposedly synths in the states.

After performing an initial allergy test, I orally ingested 7mg this morning in a cig paper. Initial effects were felt within 1-2 hours. I began to feel a minor euphoria and a good, happy stimulation. I currently feel super content and at ease, a feeling I haven't had since I gave up nicotine a few days ago.

So far, this is a great change for me, but could still be placebo (I do sincerely feel 10x better than yesterday, though) I'll update as I continue to take ~7mg/day oral.

Yeah, I know this is post número uno but I posted under a different name here a few years ago and retired it due to similarities with my social life user name. Take it or leave it, this is my preliminary report.

yet, another single post user, i think since this has been around for about 3 weeks we need to wait for more trustworthy reports.
besides, wouldnt this compound maybe also have some recreational potential if used in a larger dose or been vaporized?

I know a guy who's experimenting with some kind of FAAH inhibitor, I'll try to find out which one later. But, last time I saw him about a month ago he was getting into week 3 of his trial and claimed to be happy with it, he looked like shit though. Really greasy skin and hair, strange smelling breath (sort of like fish or glue), looked like he was really sleep deprived, and had a weird side to side rhythm to his walk.

Granted this is just one guy who dropped out of a chemistry degree to do a shitload of drugs so for all I know he could be meth binging too. But, if you do decide to skip waiting for more clinical trials and try this stuff out please be careful and monitor your response diligently.

Don't FAAH inhibitors also raise your levels of endorphin and enkephalin?

Not that I think that would make it any more recreational(I have no thoughts that a FAAH inhibitor would be), it's like the MAOI of endocannibinoids right? It's like trying to geek off selegeline or roll on prozac.

Hey, just reporting back in on the friend, he was taking really variable doses of URB597. Still looks greasy and sick, but as far as I can tell he's holding things together fairly well. He stopped 3 days ago due to a anxiety attack which is weird for him but he was probably on something else too.

Another first time poster...

I'm sure I'll receive automatic skepticism, but this really seems to be the only place online where anybody is talking about this.

Order in, planning to try to help with treatment resistant depression. Going to use 2 mg twice a day. Will report back, not trying to be a shill at all. Any questions, shoot.
Not soluble in low percentage ethanol, (e.g. vodka.)
Doesn't matter; thought I'd try, posted experience.
Whatever.

I’ve been doing a bit of research on URB597. Am hoping that this might be the thing that could replace the countless drug cocktails I have tried in the pursuit of managing my pain, anxiety and depression (is most likely fibromyalgia due to the chronic nature of these symptoms). In the past, cannabis use has caused the pain and depression to completely disappear; however, made my anxiety, STM and focus worse (also have ADD). From what I've gathered, it sounds like URB597 has the anti-depressant & analgesic properties of cannabis, plus the benefits of being an anxiolytic and not causing a foggy head or too much euphoria.

Here is a list of a few scientific articles (some more theoretical than others) that support URB597’s potential as an anti-depressant, anxiolytic and anti-inflammatory drug that has no abuse potential:

Although I haven't read too much into these, URB597 definitely sounds promising. I will definitely post about my experiences with this novel chemical as soon as I have the opportunity to.

anyone thought about inactivation of this compound by hydrolysis don't Ar-OCONH-Alkyl carbamates have the highest metabolic lability (cehck review articvle "Qualitative structure-metabolism relationships in the
hydrolysis of carbamates" didn't have time to read in depth yet)
