the offspring are well past their used by date, and only a handful of people who get tickets to this will know the real offspring, Self Esteem was such an anthem for people in my generation (born mid 80's) and im sure a lot of other people

i also think incubus are slowly getting past their used by date, when they decided to cut their hair and become a lot more poppier than required, a part of me died... S.C.I.E.N.C.E is still their best album

Looking forward to seeing Killswitch Engage, Coheed and Cambria, Saosin, Jim Ward, Shadows Fall, Bleeding Through, From Autumn To Ashes, Still Remains, and The Matches.

Even though this festival is based of hardcore/metal bands (well, duh! its a hardcore/metal festival), probably the most consistant and decent line up any festival has had in years (IMHO)

Haha......... I remember seeing the Offspring circa 1995 at a nightclub in Woollongong. Gods knows what I was doing there. I even got Noodles shirt that he threw into the crowd (so cool:! )

But yeah, they suck now.
 
I went to this last year, went to Sydney

The facilities where poor and the event was held on a remediated park on the border or Newtown and St Peters which I remember from my childhood as being a garbage tip. I found that funny.

Also it rained.

Unwritten Law, Suicidal Tendencies and Deftones made it worthwhile though
 
i got the drum media.

from the looks of things, thursday have been added to the line up also

im going to the incubus side show for free, and jim ward is supporting, which im stoked about.

might go to the thursday side show also!
 
alexisonfire got added too.
i guess they go okay. they played a great set the first time they ever come out.
 
So nothing much changed from last year

Other than not being too impressed by this years line up (2007 was far superior) I was always none to eager to return mostly due to the facilities at Sydney Park.

Walking up King Street to get home isnt too flash either

Did all the drinkers need to be caged up again this year
