EMD Can we get a freakin' TECHNO thread or what?

I was going to take some drugs, then I saw this Anklepants video

Stranger than any drug I've ever had.

I usually like some traditional Sheffield beep, I still love the old Warp records stuff...

Boiler Room hipsters look annoying, I'd hate to go there, but some of the music is good, great quality audio on the videos too.

Also loving the new Trevino ep
going to check it out. recently discovered Trevino is an alias for marcus intalex (dnb producer)

lol @ the comments on anklepants vid "That is the most space I have ever seen between the dj and the crowd for a boiler room set." gave it a chance, but couldn't get into the set.

here's a good one. vatican shadow also put out a recent lp in collaboration with function.

Just picked up this...new heavyweight business courtesy of the legendary Ugandan Methods with Prurient (aka Vatican Shadow)...

Really has been the best year I can remember for quality techno releases ;)

Jeff Mills is coming here to Sheffield next month. Techno has come back pretty big here in Sheffield over the last couple of years since Hope Works opened, Jeff Mills is coming for their 2nd birthday, can't wait.

Here's a cool track.

I also like pretty much anything on the drumcode record label, going to some big events in the coming weeks, starting with the Gashouder in Amsterdam soon.

Sick new ep by Steve Mulder...

nice :)

^ very interesting and inspiring. even though I cannot really relate to christianity, it is nice so see somebody talk about spirituality in the context of techno/dance music.

on a related note, I recommend to watch the theo parrish slices feature. not so long, but also very good, another example of a "star" keeping it real.
