what a fantastic thread
Wow, I'm reading word for word my experience with good ol' Tramies.
They indeed are a really good drug, nice opiate buzz (a little speedy), significant euphoria, takes everything bad and just turns down the volume a little. Definitely has the characteristic "oscar the grouch" side-effect of opiates.
Most IMPORTANTLY they aren't detected in any type of drug test. Even autopsies and state crime labs very rarely can test for this drug.
One thing nobody has mentioned yet is how it can sometimes cause constipation and every time comes with problems ejaculating or urinating.
I've been a daily Tramadol user for about 6 months now, and have gotten so accustomed to the problems that I now carry a few Dixie cups in my backpack so I can pee. When I'm on Tramadol, I can't urinate even in the privacy of my own home let alone in a public restroom at school, but I found a solution that works every time is to fill a Dixie cup with hot water and dip your dick in it.
I too had my first seizure on Tramadol. Now, I'd taken close to a gram and a half of Tramadol in a day and about 13/14 pills in the highest single dose. Now I never had a problem til one football sunday, I took ten pills (500mg) at once, something I had done dozens of times before with no problems. I was watching football with my friend and his father (who is also a daily Tramadol user). I was on defence, running to guard a pass and all I felt was a little dizzy. The next thing I know I was down, and felt a little weird. Now I hadn't even realized what happened, I got up saying "c'mon guys what's going on, lets play." But I quickly realized something had happened, because people were looking like they had just seen a ghost, and in looking at my best friend (my buddies 46 year old father) I could tell he had been crying.
An ambulance soon showed up, and at this time I still didn't realize what was going on. I was furious because I thought I must've looked a little high and maybe was acting weird enough for someone to call the cops.
Later, speaking to my best friend (the dad who also takes Tramadol), I found out that I had gone down and had a seizure. Apparently I was out for fifteen minutes convulsing on the grass, and towards the end of it I stopped breathing. I was told that my friend who I have mentioned several times, cradled me in his arms because he really thought I was going to die and he didn't know what to do. It makes me almost tear up just telling that. It was embarassing, and maybe even a little traumatic. It's so strange that a dose that I had taken many many times before with no problems would cause this. I think it also may have happened that particular time because of the intense physical activity I was doing.
The problem with Tramadol is that it's so inconsistent. A strange tolerance develops very rapidly, and then discipates almost as quickly as it manifested.
Sometimes 5 pills would be enough to put me on the moon and then the very next day 8 wouldn't even touch me and vice versa. My feelings on it from my own experience is that it's safer to do 6 of them and then 4 more an hour later if necessary than to take 8 all at once. Tramadol takes about 45 minutes to an hour to feel the onset, and as much as over four hours to peak. Unlike most opiates, if in an hour one does still not even feel threshold effects, taking a few more will still be effective. You don't "blow it" like other pain killer addicts often talk about when not taking a large enough initial dose.
My advice is just be very careful, try not to do it alone, just incase something happens so someone can rush you to the hospital, and EVERYTIME you drive, regardless of dose, wear your seatbelt.
I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW, WHAT THIS "ANTI-CONVULSANT" IS AND WHERE I CAN GET IT!
