Oxycontin has the worst WD IMO. I've been an IV heroin user for about a year. I have kicked dope three times, twice on bupes, and once on methadone. But to this day, oxy WD still makes me remember the god awful back pain, the nausea, vomiting, ect ect....

When i was in rehab in april of this year, there were so many heroin addicts saying how sick they were and how they had never been that ill in their life...there was this one kid who was only 17, addicted to oxy BAD, since he was a minor, the law prohibited him from being treated with methadone. He was the only person in rehab constantly throwing up and really being sick as a dog...that further convinced me of oxys powerful addiction.

There is more of a natural feeling about heroin too, oxy, fent, meth, they feel really synthetic. And since oxy is derived from thebaine, which has stimulant properties, i think thats maybe why is it so bad coming off of it...just my 2 cents

lets see ive been through oxy wd's (400 mg a day), hydro wd's (200mgs per day) and h w/d's a few bags a day snorted. tea was the worst.
 
I've heard from quite a few people that tea is the worst. Are there any other akaloids besides morphine and codiene to really be worried about? I know there are others, but are they really "active" in the sense we go for? Could you get withdrawls from the alkloids you wouldn't normally get high on?

i w/d last week and it was a walk in the park almost now pian at all just a little pian.......and i was using more then the w/d i did in 8 month ago my tollerace was a lot higher and was using more , i was working and needed it to functoin at work so last week i quitted work to w/d got coolpacks and valium's 'ghb 'loads of weed 'loperamide, codeine and other gaba relaxing shit but i didn't need hahaha i don't under stand it but it's pretty fuvking great!!

i'm pretty fucked up right now so i could by not making a lot of sence....;)
 
Tea is pretty bad but nothing compared to grounds , I never kicked a serious habit just a few months , tea i never have big trouble stopping although i feel pretty shitty with grounds it's the same but at least 2x as long
 
Iv gone through mild tea withdrawls, i see the potential for really long, drawn out wd but it cant be as bad as heroin.... nah.
 
I think i doesen`t really matter which exactly substance are you WDing from,but it`s about what amounts have you been using of each(well duration and how often too,surely)..Approximate equivalency between some narcotic agent are as follows: 10 mg of hydrocodone=15 mg of oxycodone=60 mg of codeine(not sure)..thus, if u are taking enormous amount of hydrocodone,let`s say, and the equivalent amount of heroin WD will be as bad..however..im not sure but WHY does it depend on the narcotic:why morphine is worse than codeine while WD?tnx
 
^yeah that's him, some of his posts have a link to it in the sig. There is some really good writing there. You should check out the rest of the people on that site, some of them are really interesting, if you like drug porn, which we'll assume you do because you're here, that is.

Since I said that I might as well throw in my two cents. Methadone withdrawal was the worst I have ever done, but I have only wd from heroin and methadone. I am using bupe to detox now and it's a lot easier than I thought it would be, the first maybe week after switching from dope sucked but it was nothing unbearable, and it got better day by day. And reducing my dose was pretty easy It's been two weeks and i started at eight and am now at two. But dope withdrawal was othing compared to the monster methadone was. I did a forced five day detox from forty mg and by day four I was scoring again, I didn't even go back for my final dose.

FOr me it was methadone by a long shot WORST WD ive ever had it was a 2 year habit.Heroin was close to Methadone though and hydrocodone was tough but that was a mild 6 month addiction.Never could kick heroin though still use a few times a week i try and keep it controlled and i have for a good 5 months
 
heroin withdrawal is worse in intensity than methadone, it jst doesnt last as long....with heroin sickness, the wicked CRAVINGS ya get alsontces it above methdone as well..coming off methadone i didnt have any cravings at all, t was just the never ending tiredness/dpresson/zombie that hitsyahard...
