Post your favorite healthy link!

http://www.whfoods.com

World's Healthiest Foods. Has a comprehensive list of the good stuff likely to
be found in US grocery stores. An article on each describes the various phytochemicals to be found, as well as fiber content, vitamins, etc.

Makes a point of not being beholden to corporate titans like McD's etc, etc.

Traditional Chinese Medicine ...interesting science meets opinion

Controversial, yet intriguing IMO ...medical politics, with a religious quality

Careful ...self diagnosis is not advised. These lists are very generalized and more complicated than they seem. Always seek a professional for advice.

ayurveda

source: wiki
Ayurveda is is a type of medicine associated with herbalism and alternative medicine originating in vedic India. Ayurveda classifies patients by body types, or prakriti, which are determined by proportions of the three doshas, or elements. Illness and disease are considered to be a matter of imbalance in the doshas. Treatment is aimed at restoring harmony or balance to the mind-body system.

here's the link to a QUIZ which helps to find your dominant dosha(s). since ayurveda is wholistic, it does not only suggest remedies for sickness, but also dietary recommendations for maintained health & well being.
