This Mega Thread will be the only price thread at Cannabis Discussion.

There is a currency converter at http://www.xe.com/

1 pound/ lb is 16 oz or 0.45 Kilograms
1/4 lb (QP) is 4 oz or about 112 grams
1 oz is about 28 grams
1/2oz = 14g
1/4oz = 7g
1/8oz = 3.5g

Please give you general location and the prices/quantites and quality. Please indicate what currency you are using, even if it may seem obvious. For dollars try: US$, CA$, AUS$, etc.

For quality, please use the new Cannabis Grading Scale. Posts using only slang terms will be deleted. If you have hash or other non-bud type cannabis products, please at lease rate it with a number for the high. :)

In brief:

Please use the following scale as a guideline when determining the letter rating:

A - green, lots of trichomes. no seeds, excellent taste/smell/burn. This is connoisseur type stuff.

B - green with very few seeds, if any. ok taste/smell. decent amount of trichomes

C - dark green buds with very few seeds and small stems. tastes/smells bad and is all dried out. Few trichomes

D - green seedy stemmy buds.

E - green/brown seedy stemmy nasty buds

F - dirt brown seedy stemmy nasty powder

The number rating is a scale from one to six, with one being the best and 6 being the worst. Only really good cannabis should get a number score of 1, and only really poor cannabis should get a 6.

Where i'm at i can get but that ranges from A2 to C4 in quality, what people would call green bud or dank, sometimes bc bud, nothing special. sometimes the good stuff rolls in and runs on the pricey side. when i use a ~ i mean around this price.

Local: Oklahoma, prices stay pretty much the same in the OKC/Tulsa/anybigcity area. People here don't know the differance between Sativa/Indica for the most part, and I only seem to get high from Indica, so the prices for Sativa might be a little cheaper.

Another odd thing, if you ask for an 1/8th around here you will always get five grams unless it's BC bud, or something of that sort.

Quality is from A2-B5 for the better stuff, i'm not wasting my time on shwag.

QP: US$200-250
Oz: 80-100
1/2 Oz: 40-50

all prices are for A grade. B stuff is around, but my dealers don't sell it; i haven't seen anything below B for almost a year.

I would say all this weed falls into the b-c categories. Weed tends to be the same price no matter what around my area - never hear anything about paying extra for some extra good strain or anything. Occasionally you get something that absolutely fucks with even the most experienced users.

Newcastle and Adelaide specifically; Sydney[my new home] is more expensive. All prices quoted are in $AUD ($1AUD = $0.75US)

I'd say I smoke B-C(1-2) grade chronic...However, I agree that in Australia, you would NOT pay extra for the 'dank-ass chron'. The only distinction is between hydroponic and 'bush' buds....The 'bush' costing about 1/3 of what good chronic does.

QP = $930
Oz = $250
1/2 Oz = $140
1/4 Oz = $75
1/2 Quart (3.5g) = $45
Foil = $25 (2g)

Australia rocks =D

South coast of England,

Only buy 7 grams (Quarter Oz) as a rule, prices for A3 - B3 grade bud.

Ounce - £130

1/2 Oz - £70

1/4 Oz - £40

1/8 Oz - £20

Seems a general price for most of England/UK, could expect to pay a little more for exceptional gear, (A1) white widows, ak47s etc.

A reminder: A, B, C and etc. only refers to appearance and not the high - the number is used to reflect the high. So if you got some smelly brown crap that got you incredibly high for some reason that would still be F - but it would be 1F.

We'll get the hang of this soon :)

As most people around here that sell good quality weed grow it themselves, I am fortunate enough to be able to grab pretty much whatever kind of pot I feel like smoking (Lemon Skunk, Titan, Ice, Chrystal)whenever I feel like smoking it. If I cant get hydro from my regular growers/dealers I can always get AAA BC Bud (Durban Poison) from another friend.

Oh how I adore you sweet sweet Mother Canada

Location: Eastern Kentucky
We get mostly B quality around my area. But sometimes there's some Grade A bud that goes around for a bit. My pricing scale will be for B1-C1. I will also give the price for A in parenthesis.

Qp = 500-650(up to 850 for A1 quality)
Oz = 150-250(up to 350 for A1)
1/2 = 100-125(up to 175 for A1)
1/4 = 60-70(up to 100 for A1)
1/8 = 30-40(usually at least 50 for A1)
1g = 5-7(up to 15 for A1)

Off topic stuff deleted.

lets just stick to posting prices folks.. if you want to talk about the differences in prices around the world feel free to start a new thread on it

You guys get good grass. Usually all i can find, if i can find anything, is something between c or d. That usually runs at about 25 or 30 an 1/8 anything B and above would be $60 an 1/8. Thats in central Illinios. My town REALLY sux for weed though. I haven't seen anything in town for the last 5 days besides what my buddy found in his coat pocket and the last of my stuff. There is however a lot of acid lately so thats prolly why there is hardly any grass... everyone's spendin their cash on that ;)
