Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, Research Participants Required (University of Tasmania School of Pharmacy)
The University of Tasmania School of Pharmacy is currently running the Tasmanian arm of a national study designed to monitor trends in party drug use and markets across Australia. Very little is known about the ecstasy and other party drugs used in Hobart, and this information is crucial to support health services putting the right harm reduction strategies in place to help people who use party drugs stay healthy and safe.
We are looking to interview people who regularly use ecstasy. The interview asks about the drugs that you have used recently, their price and purity, and the positive and negative things associated with their use. Interviews are completely confidential - we don't record names, and there is no way people could be identified from their answers. The interviews take about 40 minutes, can be done wherever is convenient for you and participants will be reimbursed $30 for their time. If you are interested, please get in touch with the research team after June 30 on 6226 1825, by SMS on 0409211347 or at
[email protected] to leave your contact details [you don't have to leave your real name] and one of the researchers will get back to you to make an appointment.
