Alcohol alcohol and psychosis?

whats the link? I'm too depressed and unmotivated to do my own research. I just found out I'm psychotic, I downed 55 mg of melatonin before to sleep, a bunch of other shit I don't wanna type

Well its a casual relationship not a causal which means we don't know if alcohol causes the problems that heavy drinkers experience or if their problems lead them to drink to heavy. But regardless it fucks up metabolism, sleep, and many other things. Alcohol has helped me fuck up so much shit if your having mental problems you better stay away I know cause I never did\do.

I think a lot of people that suffer from psychosis drink heavily to drown their symptoms. Alcohol can lessen the voices and can make you feel good for some time.
And alcohol withdrawal can induce delirium tremens, thessymptoms are more or less equivalent to a 'normal' psychosis.
Alcohol is a receptor bitch and interacts with a lot of different receptors in your brain.
