In drug slang/lingo, does "connect" and "dealer" mean the same thing?

For instance, if somebody says "my dealer has ecstacy" or "my connect has ecstacy", does it mean the exact same thing?
 
Yes? Try urbandictionary in future.

This would belong in Drug Culture if it couldn't be answered in one word... this isn't really OD material.
