Opioids I took some Codeine about 6 hours ago

Anyways my question is simple. I took about 150mgs of codeine about 6 hours ago and I still feel mellowed out. I read up that the effects only last 2 hours, does codeine have some sort of an after glow? Everytime I have a cigarette, it potentiates the feeling for about 10 minutes. Even after 6 hours of ingesting

That's just having a low tolerance, like any drug. There's still some amount in your system. Like when I have a very low amphetamine tolerance it will last much longer than it's supposed to.
