Simple Question - What Size Cotton For IV Filtering??

I'm always curious as to what size of rolled up cotton people use? I use Q-tip and rolled up tight to the size off a bb before throwing into my spoon. Is that enough or should I be using a little more cotton? Any tips are appreciated.
 
When I was using dope I used both sides of a Q-tip rolled up, either that or approximately 1/8th of a cigarette filter rolled up maybe more maybe less but really it depends on your personal preferences some people use just a tiny tiny bit of cotton and some use lots and lots and then some in between...it's really up to you :)

Here is an article about the efficiency of different filters.

If you are using a cotton then I think that the tighter you roll it the better it will work, so I would use a bigger piece and roll it tightly. It's best to use a micron filter though, and if you cotton filter you should do it twice.
 
A BB sounds right, unless you're dealing with obviously cut-heavy drugs....Never even seen a micron filter myself...They seem to be the way to go though!
