Hi I'm trying mpa for the first time and I was wondering bec I'm on celexa (20mg) daily will I have a problem with interactions? Thanks!

Careful, MPA is supposed to be a very dirty drug, I don't know if it has interactions with citalopram though.

I'm not talking about purity, I mean in general it's a dirty drug, I've heard it's got tons of unwanted peripheral effects.

I've never tried it personally but I haven't met anyone who took it and enjoyed it.

^this

I HAVE taken it and it's a complete waste of time. you'd be better off snorting aspirin.

Damn that's very disappointing I was really looking forward to it. I had taken kratom and loved
It so I figured id try somthing else legal.

Do you guys think mephadrone is better?

Remember that legal does not equal safe/fun/worth your time/money.

I don't really agree that MPA is not worth it - it's just you have to know what you're looking for. It's not amphetamine or cocaine. In fact, it's really not very speedy at all. I have found that smoked, snorted and plugged it's not really worth it - wears off very quickly and just leaves you wanting more, although redosing is never satisfying.

Eaten, though, it can be fantastic. The two situations I'd take it in are:

- Going to a party where I intend to drink a lot and I know that if I just use alcohol alone I will feel ill or tired.
- The day after a massive binge where I feel like complete shit but am required to socialise with people who are not going to be using drugs, and want to appear upbeat but not fucked.

Basically, eaten (at around 40mg), it's provides a wonderful, gentle lift for a few hours. On the other hand, sniffing lines of it after having a few drinks is pretty pointless.

Also, unlike a lot of amphetamines and their analogues, the physical effects seem to wear off at pretty much the same as the psychological, so no lying around feeling wired, nor are you forced to take benzos.

I agree about interactions, though. I've mixed it with aMT a couple of times which was probably stupid but seems to have been OK. I've really wanted to mix it with Tramadol and MXE but both seem way too risky.

I haven't tried MPA but I would rather have mephedrone than MPA.

Tri, a statement like that highlights exactly what I mean about knowing what it's for. I would rather have mephedrone than MPA much of the time, as well. Definitely better for partying and socialising. But I don't think the statement on its own is really that meaningful. There are times when MPA is exactly what I want and mephedrone would be too much. It's difficult to know, but MPA doesn't feel like a significant serotonin releaser, and frequently if you're concerned about feeling rough the next day then this is a bonus.

Although the concern about toxicity does worry me slightly, particularly as thiophene s-oxides seem to be cytotoxic, which sounds pretty scary. Possibly I should stop using this one.

MPA isn't a recreational drug in my opinion. It's like caffeine, you use it be more alert, focused, and energized.

^ It is recreational, especially when plugged, but it's very hard on the heart. Vasoconstriction more unpleasantly severe than any other drug I've come across, after only moderate sessions.

Have a look through the megathread to see if any adverse effects have been reported mixing MPA with anything else, OP.

^its on,y recreational for the first dew times

IME toerance builds too fast to have any lasting fun on it, cause as the tolerance goes up, the crashes get worse, and then the high gets shorter, almost pushing you directly in the crash without getting any recreational effects fromit at all.
