Opioids Insuffulating morphine sulphate instant release

Does insuffulating morphine sulphate instant release pills work? I just want to make sure so I dont waste any, and I know that eating them would be a huge waste. Thanks!
 
Well how much of a waste? I got them for free so im not too bothered by a bit of wastage, but isnt the bioavalibilty of plugging substances similair to insuffulating? Thats what my pharmacy lecturer told me anyway or is it different for morphine sulfate?
 
No. Morphine oral and nasal bioavailability is 20-30% whereas plugging is closer to 80%. Oxy is the one where it's closer to the same, each opiate is different.
 
Oh really? Thats quite interesting, do you know why the nasal bioavlability is only 20-30percent for morphine? I know why the oral bioavailability is low but what makes the nasal bioavailability so low?
