Is it wise to mix these substances together in one day ?

My friend was planning on taking some DHC (Dihydrocodeine) 40mg tonight. But earlier in the day he took around 36mg Ritalin and 1.5mg of Xanax for the crash. It's been a few hours since his crash and feels like chilling out with some DHC.

Is there any adverse reactions that can take place that my friend might be unaware of ?

Doesn't sound too bad, although i do not know how strong 40mg dhc is. If that is like a strong nod dose or a pretty heavy dose i would say to take less just to be on the safe side.
 
I definitely can't say 100% ... anything, really. The following is just my immediate instinct, or what I'd 'believe' if were in the position. * I'd say, if he made it that far and is feeling fine. Just don't add anything else to the mix. Stay hydrated, eat something, and get some sleep!
 
Mixing benzos with opiates can be dangerous, but at the levels your friend was taking, I think he'll be fine.
