Opioids Morpine VS Oxycodone

I havnt had much experience with morphine. Only had it IV at hospital & only bought a 10mg pill from someone on the street. but Ive had ALOT of experience with codeine which basically converts to morphine. My ususaly dose is 400mg so Id assume that would be similar to taking 30mg-40mg morphine.

anyways Ive had some experience with Oxycodone. Bought an 80mg Oxycontin & have bought several 40mg Oxycontins & Endone which are instant 5mg oxys. I've also had them prescribed.
I've taken uup to 160mg Oxycontin in a day which made me very sick & throw up. Clearly I ODed. I felt just right on abot 80mg Oxycontin. I tried 25mg instant release oxy i few days later & it only felt as strong as cwe beleive it or not,

anyways from my experience codeine feels better although is weaker because of its celeiling dose it still feels better. Basically the codeine high is caused by morphine so morphine must be better.

it feels more sedating & just more relaxing & natural.
I dunno I've been with oxy u can take a higher dose before getting side effects but morphine still feels better imo & this is coming from a guy basically compaing codeine to oxy so morphine would be way better.

what do u guys think?

We're not here to do drug comparisons. Some people prefer the stimulating nature of oxycodone, others like the sedating itchiness of morphine. To each their own.

Codeine itself is weakly active, as are its glucuronide metabolites - they may be the true cause of codeine analgesia rather than the converted morphine.
