So the other day I'm doing a bit of reading on Erowid about G and it says that it raises the dopamine levels in the brain. So it gets me thinking that should we be avoiding G on a comedown for the same reasons why we avoid meth on a comdown? ie in a situation of serotonin depletion the dopamine gets into the serotonin receptors resulting in damage to the receptors, ie neurotoxicity.
Is this a correct assumption or am I way off track?

I think dopamine overproduction and uptake into the serotonin receptors post E is widely and correctly linked to serotonin receptor downgrading.
Whilst g on a comedown is terrific, I myself tend to think that you do increase the risk of dopamine bonding to your sero receptors.
Hence, I postload with an SSRI, before I get stuck into the GHB. Not sure of it's short term efficacy to block the re-uptake of dopamine, nonetheless I feel better having done everything I can to minimise the potential damage....
