base question

whats a point of base ? is it 0.1 grams or is it 0.5 grams, my friend told me 0.5 and i saw on teh board here 0.1, so could some1 clear this up for me ?

I'm pretty sure a point means 0.1 grams or 100 mg.

A point generally means 0.1 of a gram.

A point of base (much like a "point" of anything) is indeed 0.1g/100mg. A "half weight" is the term usually used for 0.5g/500mg (a "weight" being a gram). Be wary - just becase it's sold to you as 'a point' doesn't mean it is. The only way to know is to measure it yourself.

technically a point is 0.1g, as in "point one of a gram".
But as mentioned, the only way you can be sure of this is to weight it.
