I just watched this movie it is fucking good and very realistic. One of the best drug movies out there without a doubt. I wish the guy who produced and directed this makes more movies, dude has some serious talent. The style of the movie reminds me of "Pusher," which was another great movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117407/

I think the filmmakers had a couple of posts here. I'll look around and see if I can dig em up.

I look forward to watching both Oxy-Morons and Pusher (1,2,3). I hadn't heard of any of them until this thread, thank you.

Poledriver, you are going to love them, especially Pusher 1,2 and 3! Pusher is legendary. Please let us know what you thought of the movie after you are done with it. Start with Pusher lol

both the Pusher movies and Oxy-Morons are now easily available to rent or purchase. so if you have a link to illegally download or stream them, please keep it to yourself.

So what's the rule? I can't post direct links but I can tell him which site to go on? Can anyone confirm so i don't break any rules.

no, you cannot tell him what site to go on. F&T does not have anything to do with illegal media sharing. PM me if you have any questions.

However, if you would like to re-create the movie through interpretative dance and post it on YouTube that would be allowed.

with clothes on?:D

without clothes i tend to evoke greater meaning and the theme becomes more pronounced, otherwise the message gets complicated.

I didn't think this was all that great. It seemed like a typical story about addiction, but with more guns and violence than the average user would ever see. It was like The Town, but with oxy and pharmacies instead of cash and banks or armored cars.

Why were the pills black too? I don't think OCs ever had a black pill. Also, this is a pet peeve, but I can't stand how many films and shows don't show people shooting up correctly. The way the dude prepped the shot was sloppy and in the movies they're always sticking the needle straight into the persons arm as if it were a knife and they were trying to stab them. Also, unless you're close to ODing, you don't immediately go into a nod after shooting up, especially if you already have an opiate tolerance. Argh! *End junkie drug rant*

This was absolute, complete, bullshit, from the acting to the effects to fucking everything. one star.

I read somewhere when they interviewed him they asked that question. He said they were actually dark green but in the movie they looked black.

seems horribly over-dramatized

not trying to say its a bad movie, because I've never seen it

but that was my first impression

i wondered this also. kept thinking "i don't remember them being that dark."

for those who have access to netflix, it is on there... that's where i watched it.

i thought it was okay, for an indie film. but i think it would be much better without the horror effects in it.

i actually heard about this movie thru the epsiode of Vangaurd (on current tv): The Gateway to Heroin in which Johnny Hickey's story is featured
