Does anyone have any info on a drug known by this name; Kryptonite?
I have not personally seen this drug, but a usually reliable source describes it as follows.
APPEARANCE: Lime green sherbet like powder
EFFECTS: From snorting, instant intoxication and definite sexual arousal. The effect is described as being similar to MDMA but stronger(sorry, bad description)
It is reported that the effect is gone within 1-2 hours, and frequent lines over several days are only reported to produce sleep deprevation after/side effects. It is obviously a stimulant.
I thought perhaps one of the 2C family, and showing him a picture of 2C-T-7 on erowid, he commented that the colour was very similar. Having not seen 2C-T-7 I couldn't comment on whether or not the erowid photo makes the contents look green or whether it is actually the colour of the substance.

I haven't discounted that this powder may be a combination of drugs, although the dude said it is nothing like ketamine or whizz. In the states kryptonite refers to crack, but you can’t snort crack so that’s out.
 
Kryptonite is a combination of crushed caffiene pills (no-doz), crushed up ritalin (methylphenidate), nutmeg, and crushed up poppy seeds. (baking soda and water are also combined.
Now i will explain those ingredients, the caffiene acts as a stimulant creates much energy, and ritalin acts also as a speedy stimulant. Nutmeg is a drug wich is a common alternative high in places like prison, and rehab. The crushed poppy seeds act as a minor relaxant but only contain a very very VERY small amount of narcotic qualities, when crushed, the juice from the poppy seeds is like a distant rendition of opium.
Kryptonite can sometimes be a hassle to smoke.
But after three or four hits you'll feel a rush and feel pretty dizzy you'll start shaking and laughing.
The effects are almost exactly like taking a hit of weed and a hit of crack but not as strong.
Kryptonite should not be smoked in a regular pipe, instead it should be smoked in tin foil, or a can.

Due to the incredible small amount of 2ct7 needed to kill you when snorted, I doubt that's what it is...
Interesting question though... I look foward to hearing opinions on this... :)
 
it might help to say how many mg you are insufflating to induce these effects.

..just the size of a small line of coke apparently, <50mg perhaps, but this is all second hand info. Need to talk to someone else who's had it
Without wishing to violate posting rules, it was said to have originated from the M city of the south, but is supposed to be around a few tight circles elsewhere.
I didn't think it would be T-7, not with repeated admin etc.
If it wasn't for the fact that it was snorted, wazza may have had the answer - but I would imagine anything with nutmeg in it would be hideous to snort.
 
Is there a possibility that it's just one of the standard readily available drugs that's been given some wacky name? Like maybe a bad synth of meth or something else that came out green for some reason and so the dealer gave it a cool name to increase the market potential of an otherwise shit drug?
Or it could be crushed up green pills...
Just a thought... you know way more about chem than I do - is it possible that it could be green by mistake?
 
Yeah pleo, my first thoughts were along the same lines.
1) something non-exotic with food colour added
2) a mixture of things
3) crushed pills
4) or something exotic
As the later is unlikely, at least in terms of not being previously heard about here, and until soemthing else turns up I'll suspect any the first 3 as being a possible explanation.
If it wasn't from a veteran user with broard experience, I wouldn't have given the matter a second thought. Still this gaurantees nothing. One may be privy to see this in the near future. If so I'll try to ensure its tested with available kits.
Years ago we came across what I later beleived to be Ketamine with food colouring. It was a blue coloured powder going by the title of blur (french for blue, forgive spelling) The effect from this was an intitial drunken feeling followed by a quite pleasant erotic euphoria. When it ran out we all pooled together and shared a monster amount out to each . We all were barely able to see and couldn't really move. It lasted around 20 mins. K I've been given sometime after this was nothing like I remembered the blur to be.

This may be a silly or redundant suggestion, but if you get a sample, maybe test it with eztest supreme and/or extreme? It may narrow the amount of drugs it could be, down slightly...
 
2C-T-7 has a ridiculously low insufflation limit causing damage, and lasts well in excess of 2 hours. It also burns like the fires of seven suns. Very unpleasant feeling in the nose. It also doesn't (imho) produce much sexual feeling, and gives a heavy body load.
2C-B has much more sensual nature, but again lasts well in excess of 2 hours, and hurts like hell.
I'll keep my ears open. The short duration should narrow down the search a bit.

I have nothing to base this on other than you're saying it's like MDMA and it makes you sexually aroused, but could it be a MDMA + Viagra combo? Anyone know if this combo would match these feelings?
 
I think wazza hit the nail on the head.
Added to the effects BT listed for 2-CT-7, another which would rule it out is it's highly hallucingenic properties...
Sounds like MDMA to me, but I'll keep an eye out :)
anf - that's highly unlikely.
Doctors warn that combining the two drugs can cause heart problems or erections that don't subside for more than four hours, possibly leading to anatomical damage. There have been scattered reports of such injuries across the country, officials say.
That "more than four hour" erection is otherwise known as a priapism... Apparently the condition is far from sexual, positively painful and often requires medical attention.

I know I haven’t given anyone much to go on, but here are the particular points
1) Fast acting
2) Short duration
3) Intoxicating
4) Horny
5) Low tolerance developed from continual use
Now, I’m far from convinced that this is something exotic, but in searching Erowid I came across NSBT, also mentioned in Tihkal.
Erowid lists NSBT as being orally active at 25-75mg and short in duration.

The two geometric isomers, mono-isobutyl and mono-sec-butyl tryptamines are best called NIBT and NSBT. They also have been made by the oxalylamide route and the hydrochloride salts melt at 150-151 °C and 175-177 °C resp. Interestingly, NSBT is one of the two mono-substituted tryptamines that just might have CNS activity. It has shown a generalized and somewhat diffuse intoxication with several studies covering the 25 to 75 milligram range. Short lived, intellectual excitement with some modest sensory enhancements. Promising, and a lot of erotic horniness, but no plus threes, yet.
...Wouldn't it be fascination if it turned out that all of the mono-tryptamines (the NRT's) were GHB-like intoxicants, and totally devoid of psychedelic activity. That would be a true challenge to the SAR crowd.

Having made a lot of "poppy hash" (poppy seed mixture boiled down until it is a smokeable putty hash-like concoction(and legal - but not very effective if you have an opiate habit)) i could not see this substance ever getting to the point where it could be successfully snorted, even if it only formed a small percentage of the overall blend. it is definitely a smoke or swallow drug.
 
I had this recently whilst on a visit to W.A.
It was from a town 2 hours south of Perth, on the 27th Dec.
We were sold it under the impression it was speed.
We thought it was just coloured with food dye, as a sort of marketing ploy!
It was off a reliable source.
Half a gram between 3 of us produced a very clean speed feeling, but it tasted like the smell of burning plastic. When we snorted it we thought, "oh what's this then eh?" and knew it wasn't speed. It burned like hell.
Tried to get drunk and couldn't, tried to sleep and there was no way that was happening and I can sleep on speed usually.
No rushes just alert.
Kryptonite hehehe.

Your alertness and inability to sleep indicate speed, or some other kind of meth/amphetamine. What other effects did you experience?
