Head shops, poppers and Tiger Balm please.

I love checkin out all the whack shit that head shops stock... does anyone know of any in Sydney?
Also, are poppers (amyl) legal here?? If they are, where can I get em? If they aren't, forget I asked and Mods, please feel free to edit my post.
In the case that you can't just go out and buy bottles of rush here, what do people do? Do you just sniff window cleaner/CD cleaners etc etc?? Would that have the same effect and be less/more harmful?
Oh yea and one more thing that's indirectly drug related I suppose. What places here stock Tiger Balm? I haven't had any success finding it yet.

In general, poppers are available in adult book shops... 'sex' shops, called "Rush" or similar, as you said.
Tiger balm should be available in some supermarkets and pharmacies.
There are head shops and smoking paraphernalia shops around - check the "Making pill testers culture" thread for locations near you that stock EZ-test.
Anymore specific source/vendor information would be against Guidelines, and I will delete any specific references to shops or online sources.

The question about whether poppers are legal, at least in NSW, is a tricky one.
I have previously asked a solicitor and a federal policeman this question without getting any clarity.
They are sold in bottles in most sex shops, as BT says, and are usually labelled as "aromas", presumably for legal reasons. Common brands are Ram Gold, Satyr, Tom of Finland, Nova etc.
I have been told by staff of one club that poppers are illegal and therefore unwelcome in that club, despite the fact that they were being sold at the shop next door. When I pointed this out they claimed it was legal to sell them but illegal to sniff them! I doubt if that's correct but it does seem to be a grey area.
However, pornography is also sold openly in these shops and is technically illegal in NSW.
Go figure!

Some poppers are sold as video head cleaners, or leather cleaners, or potpourri oils... etc.
I believe that technically amyl nitrite is illegal, but these bottles contain a very similar chemical called isobutyl nitrite. It's not quite as potent, but makes you feel just the same, headaches and all...

In WA I've been lead to believe it is illegal to sell amyl but you can have it in your possesion. Most people here mail order it from NSW or the ACT.

Don't sniff windows cleaner, it will fuck with your head. And yes, most sex shops stock an amyl substitute, and believe me, i know, i had to search pretty hard.

I tried "Rush" about 5 years ago and the guy I got it off bought it by mail order from sydney. I have to say it was pretty shit stuff, just made my cough my arse off and make my head feel like it was going to pop off. Good luck anyway.

I found some Rush at a party once.
Made for a lots of scattered laughter.
But, it fucks with your head. Best to avoid.
