Well if you don't know what "Bonnaroo" is you suck.

anyways, i've gone 2003,2005,2006,2007, and 2009. I missed last year :/

well this year Bonnaroo has a pretty sick Line-up! check it!

June 9th-11th, it's a while aways, but still save some $ to get tickets! well fucking worth it!!

This will be my 6th year too.word the fuck up!!!
i went 2003-2006 missed 3 yrs bc i had a fucking amazon woman- cunt girlfriend who beat me and terrorized me for most of that time and wouldn't let me go.
i am 5'2" and although i have always been a bit tomboyish and physical in my work and activities,this bitch was huge and we met after a near fatal accident i ha in jan 2006 and i had to have some reconstructive surgery on my ankle after she and i started dating and living together and she waited til i was post op to start wailing on me. before my wreck i would have kicked her ass.
In fact when i woke from a coma that was just shy of a month i had no concept of time but saw my parents and said
"how long have i been here-omg, did i miss Bonnaroo tickets?"
no shit,dude.
my best friend and i will be heading there from her house in Charlotte,NC-I live in SC currently. so we can TOTALLY hook up,yo. It is my goal to get some Bluelighters together this year.

man that is crazy...we have prob been at so many of the same shows. if you smoke herb i may have shared a bowl with you or turned you onto some Mollie. i am very into the whole sharing and meeting people. i have had hour long conversations w/ ppl in line at an ATM one year and we never even knew each others names.

this is great. i'd like to keep a dialogue going and try and give people and idea of what Bonnaroo is all about. I was actually going to make a thread when I saw yours.

This is my 6th out of the 10 years Bonnaroo had been around. It is THE highlight of my year. It is like nothing I have ever experienced.
Bonnaroo has a spirit of its own.
I highly recommend it to any music fan as it is literally has something for everyone.

In the past i've always got VIP tickets, so really no line waiting. this year I guess I'm not that imporntant :/ so I get to wait in line like all the others.
longest in line? 1hour.

The best year for me was 2007, Tool was there and i fucking love tool, also 2005 was the shit <3 Toots and the Maytals! and widespread panic is awesome chillin music. String Cheese is bomb also. :D

This year I'm excited to see SCI, and WP. because this really is the only time I get to see them live :[. Lil Wayne should be a good show. Eh, Eminem is alright ya kno, but I want Bonaroo to stay musical.. if ya kno wat I mean? yeah Rap is ok, but keep the guitars man. lol

My bands :R! Anything that involves a guitar, drumset, keyboard, and bass. lol. the singing is good, but i like to jus chilll outz ya knos!

This year should be neat, my buddy is working for bonnaroo through some volunteer program deal, I think he's on bathroom detail LOL, but still every year he goes, he gets in for free. he has to wok 12 hours then he's good. I'm going to do that next year. so more will be revealed. :)

I live an hour away from Manchester outside of Nashville. I bought my ticket. I just turned 18 this past fall and this is my first year going. Probably alone. I hope to meet some new people there! I'm going for Pretty Lights, STS9, Widespread Panic, and Beats Antique in particular. I like others but those are the ones that stick out. I can't believe I live so close to an awesome festival. It's really inexpensive for me besides tickets because of this. I can drive there in literally just an hour.

While there, I hope to find Mescaline. It's pretty rare and I've never tried so I hope and hope that I'll get lucky at such a large event. It's one of the last psychedelics in particular that I want to try. It'd be awesome to meet up with fellow bluelighters at such an event.

i ve been going for the past couple years, i live pretty close(like a half hour) if your coming from nashville or chat town i would suggest getting on 41 a little before manchester because I-24 tends to get packed (like a1-5 hour wait but it kinda just depends...) or if you know how to get to the mcminnville-tullahoma highway take that...
i have friends who work side-ops every year so i just ride in with them(no wait!!)
um favorite show so far would be bassnectar last year.
Most excited for STS9 and Neil Young(holy fuck like holy fuck)
doc's: at bonnaroo i try to trip at least once cause its fanfuckingtastic place to do it, maybe some molly or grass.
********Also i would be wary about what you purchase from uhmmm "vendors" like i highly doubt you will find real mescaline Logic, theres alot of fake shit at the Roo and i bet there will be even more now that eminem and Lil wayne are gonna be there.

also i plan on seeing the following bands (if no schedule conflicts arise) Black Keys, My morning Jacket, Neil Young, Bassnectar, explosions in the sky(finally some post rock that shit will be epic!!) STS9, OCMS, Bootsy Collins( i thought he was dead lol)

Lol it'd be funny if we met there. I guess I won't look for mesc. It's the last psychedelic in particular that I want to try. After it, there isn't much in particular I'm interested in. I know my stuff though, I doubt I'll be easily fooled. I plan on looking around for quite a while before making any selections.

This will be my first festival. I'm soooo excited. I might be going alone so hopefully I meet a lot of cool people on my first day there.

This will be my second Roo that I attend. I decided to go last year since I live relatively close to Manchester. (1.5 hour drive max) I seriously did have a blast last year....but this year the first day actually falls on my birthday! Party time! :!

Most looking forward to Explosions In The Sky, String Cheese Incident, Phosphorescent, Portugal. The Man, Beats Antique, Mumford and Sons...so many others....

I'll be 'rooing it up this summer, Can't wait. Not terribly excited for any of the headliners though. Buffalo springfield, atmosphere, Florence and the machines, nofx, the black keys just way too many to name are where its at. I just hope there arn't too many scheduling conflicts.

EDIT:

Lineup with times has been announced as well as a nifty tool to make your schedule.

No decemberists for me, but I'll have a good spot for atmopshere, and a great spot for florence and the machines.

As of right now I'm going alone but wouldn't mind meeting up with BL'ers as this is my first festival and I wouldn't mind some cool people to chill with.
