Hey guys and gals,

So the name of the thread pretty much speaks for itself.

I decided to make this poll thread, because I've becoming more and more interested in the effects hardcore pornography has on human sexuality.

For instance, at present I find it hard to close my eyes, and stay really turned on and be able to get myself off, which is ridiculous - the power of imagination should be limitless.

But we have sex of all kinds and strengths just bombarding our senses, leading to desensitization for many.

I have also started noticing how some porn sites feature advertising with demoralizing, often subliminal messaging to make guys feel totally inadequate and want to change the way they are.

This has lead me to want to see how far, in our culture of immediacy, has this conditioning of the natural innate human sexuality spread, as I see the normalcy of pornography in the western world as more & more sinister.

in about '95, i got my first pc. man was I nearly immediately hooked on porn...but only free sites, i've never paid a site. I did it more than once a day is about all i can say. now, i rarely go to porn sites or even have the urge to. i'm 47 & my age coupled with rampant drug use has left me almost without any sex drive at all. once a week now, i guess, but i don't use porn to fantasize much any more. I've got enough real jack material from years past to "need" porn. i guess i use it once a month now. btw, i'm single & hetero.
 
because im on house arrest and at the moment my gf lives 3 hours away. daily. anything to kill the time...
 
Often enough to make me think I need break from it. It's getting boring anyway.
 
Whenever I need to, I go through phases, it's hard finding porn that interests me.
 
I use porn as often as I can when I masturbate. Some places are not conducive to having a laptop with me, but I always seem to better orgasms if I watch porn while I rub.

im glad you said that cuz its been pissing me off. i hate it when rubbing one out and on the side of the video is this tiny dick growing 5x its original size. saying "this can be you w/ only 3 easy to follow tips"

or ones that say " dont cum 'till you watch this!!!11!!"

so my solution to this problem has been to make the videos full screen ;)

Sometimes I get totally distracted by those animated adverts on the side of the screen. Fullscreen gets rid of all that, but you're left with a blurry mess of limbs due to the (usually) shitty quality of videos.

And for me it really alternates between several times in one day, to days without feeling the urge. Variables include how busy I am, how tired I am, and whether I'm on drugs.

I find the opposite true. Better orgasms when thinking about someone I've had sex with or thinking about someone I'd like to have sex with.
 
the thing with porn is that i use it to bust a nut. i wish i was a girl in terms of sex drive cuz it's fucking annoying being horny every day / every other day. i gotta find another way to channel that energy, but til then, porn is too quick
 
I don't use porn so much anymore, but I used to when I was in high school. However now I just use my imagination, it's all in the mind!

I've talked about my masturbating style somewhere else here, I am a big fan of my imagination, and hive actually been known to wander in my imagination when a partner is boring.

Sooo....I'd guess maybe 1 in every 10-15 times? And I dont usually finish with the porn, just look at something to get my creative "juices" flowing.
