I just want to hear words local to your area. This interests me greatly. here's a few of mine that I like. I just want to hear others.


I'm liking PT's "scoop"

Mochett - Dirty or Another colloquialism "minging"

Cludgy - toilet

Reekie - stinky

Midden - collective bin ( flats )

Pish flaps - Ya know

Gash

Away and lie on yer ribs - shut up

boil yer pish - same as above.


I know it's a daft thread but I'd love to hear your local patter. It's great

you can also call a person a 'midden', by the way. i.e. someone who's in a right state, e.g. parttime crackhead when he's just come home from a Village People concert, etc.

ya, i know a few people that used to call soapbar 'council block' but that has pretty much died out with the availability of said product

also i'm liking jakey. I've picked it up from the jocks on here and its taking off in my circle of friends as the new word to describe a ropey character

Or you could say "I'm fucking scadded" which means "I'm rather drunk".

A weird one that I'm sure is said just amongst a few people I know, "Skin a rupert" - "Build a joint"
