Not the best title, but.... I always get worried when I see someone on the dance floor that is either passed out on the floor and bouncers have to check their eyesight with a flashlight, then carry them out; or those that are nonresponsive with the same spaced out stare, oblivious to their friends' attempts at helping them (and of course they end up being escorted out).

I'm mystified. What happens to them and why? Where are they taken? To a hospital? What happens there? Do they fully recover?

I've always wondered the same.

I think that the ambulance is needed when some one is completely out. But if you can help the person ride it out its better then just freaking out and callIng the ambulance. I had a really bad freak out the 3rd time I rolled, took to much for my taste. And I'm glad my boyfriend was there to calm me down a ride out The strongest peak I've ever had. I think if they would have called the ambulance I would have freaked ever more. .

But at the really big massive they held in my city this year I saw a lot of ambulances and.ppl in streachers

Most fully recover, some go to a hospital, occasionally one will die. I've found some of these wind up being people that have k-holed. This happened to one of my friends and I almost got a bouncer to take HER out until she snapped out of the k-hole (I didn't know she had done k or something.. don't remember why i was freaking out. We both did a bump of k >.> ).

The fact of the matter is some die, some just need to cool off, some go to the hospital. A majority are okay, though =)
