do gel caps easily crack or come apart?

So how easily do gel caps crack or come apart? I am planning on making some for an event and putting them in a baggy and then hiding them somewhere until I got in.

I've never bought empty ones, but the rx ones my adderall come in have a nice little "pinch" you've gotta overcome for them to open. Never had them open in my wallet before (which I indeed sit on, though not on purpose)
Shouldn't crack at all, it's a flexible material.

There pretty tough - one thing though make sure they dont get wet or they will go soft and squash/melt.
