Australian mail used for drug trafficking

The Australian Crime Commission, says international drug traffickers are increasingly using the postal system to send drugs to Australia.
In its latest report, the country's national crime intelligence agency says the largest number of border detections of illegal drugs has come through the mail. The ACC has also identified south-west Asia as in increasing source for Australia's heroin supply. The Commission's CEO John Lawler says as a result 100per cent of overseas letters and packages sent by air or sea are now screened for drugs.
