Ever seen heroin look like this?

By no shot am I experienced with heroin, I've done it a handful of times and the times I did on the west coast, well it was a black tar that you smoked and the 5-6 times I've gotten on the east coast - all out of Baltimore it's come in gel caps (large size what ever that is) and you have to snort a bit of powder to get high.
This time however, I went to get it, the guy sold me 2 twenties, one was in a small glass vile with maybe a third of what I've gotten before and one was in a tiny tiny baggie. Both substances looked the same - though the glass vile was obviously more crushed up, but decent siezed chunks in there that I wouldn't dream of snorting.
Anyways, in the baggy all it was was a large chunk or reddish-brown rock looking thing with some tan chunks. I first thought I had gotten scammed and the guy sold me ready rock, but went ahead and crushed it up and snorted it. I snorted generally what I usually do which in this case was way too much - I could barely keep my eyes open. Subsequently I snorted tinier lines. All in all, with no tolerance, this shit got me smacked out like 8 times over three days.
But I've never seen heroin come in a rock form? Anyone else get it this way?

Sounds exactly like what I get from Baltimore. Vials packed with rocks. If you become a reg, you'll probably notice the caps on the vial change colors.. doesn't mean anything.
Should be good stuff. You're looking for rocks with absolutely no powder other than dust residue. If you decide to bang it, you'll know if you're getting hooked up if you put the rocks in the spoon with water. You'll have to crush them with the plunger cap while in the water. May take a few minutes, but everything should disolve into the water leaving it slightly murky. You don't want to see anything left behind. Sometimes they cut it with some brown powdery stuff that won't disolve. Not that it matters much, but of course when you're running a $40+ day habit, it'll piss you off.
The rocks I've gotten like this are always medium to high potency. The color the water turns has always correlated with strength in my batches.. the darker the better.

Most of the smack on the east coast is in powder form. Where I live in the southeast, it comes as chunks, white or slightly off white in color - straight from Afghanistan. Some of it is VERY potent, at least the stuff I come into contact with - one must be VERY careful. I know a few people who have died after doing the tar out west, then doing the powder here...and doing too much. BTW, truly pure heroin doesn't need some type of acid to dissolve it - water works perfectly. Many times heat isn't even needed, it can be stirred up in the water & dissolved instantly. ^That dope isnt from Afghanistan. Tar H comes from poppy plants. The powder stuff isnt even H at all. It's usually fentanyl. No matter what it is, it's made in a lab not refined from plants.

Yes truely pure heroin wouldn't require anything besides water to dissolve it. But when your buying this on the street from someone you don't know, you not exactly getting USP grade shit.

The city I am in is famous for pure heroin and many ODs because of people doing amounts they think are safe.
The shit here is off white ,tanish and light light brown.

Most, if not all, powderd dope is clandestine made fentanyl and fentanyl analogs. None is diacetylmorphine (Heroin).

The latest DEA report says this tan stuff is heroin, white being highly refined. The darker browner stuff is generally from Mexico and the lighter colored stuff is from Asia, although there are some new labs popping up in Mexico where the quality is improving.
Most powdered heroin are these chunks crushed up with a cut, not fentanyl. And the chunks are definantly heroin. Sorry.

Opium from afganistan, taken to herion labs, processed to brown, about 90 % or more, some is further processed to white powdwer for injecting, but is mostly just processed to brown in afganistan.
Gets transported through countires i forget till it hits turkey who play key role in transportation, but they further process the brown to white powder. they it gets shipped all over the world or something

Gun toter, that's definantly correct. In America we don't get much heroin from Afghanistan. I believe the estimates are that only 10% of the heroin in our country originates there. Most of ours is from Central and South America. But there is still a large portion from Asia. Asian heroin is typically the most well refined, and as you said it's processed into a white powder for injecting. And apparently the Mexicans are catching up and starting to better refine there heroin lately to compete with the foreign market in America.
There is fentanyl out there, I will not argue that. But in America *most* of the white powder is heroin, not fentanyl.
And even in cases where the heroin is not well refined, the final product sold on the streets is a white powder. This is the case of most of the heroin in DC. If you look closely you will notice dark specks throughout it. It is Mexican brown crushed into a very very fine powder and usually cut with quanine (although I'm sure there are lots of other cuts that are white powder) and of course this is why it is white and a fine powder. I've hung out at dealer's pads in the city and watched them do this myself. Another time I got a $200 rock of brown heroin. The guy thought I was buying such a large amount to sell (wrong, my parents were out of town for a week and I wanted to party) and offered me some quanine to cut it with and told me how many parts of quanine to heroin to use to make dimes and twenties. And obviously I don't know what everyone does, but I do know this is very common. I know that in cities where black tar is rare, most heroin is sold as powder, not raw chunks. I also know that when law enforcement test substances in the lab, they determine the specific substance, not just whether or not it's an opiate. The same generally goes for autopsies on overdose victims as well. Fentanyl is not what the police are detecting for the most part, it's heroin. That's because heroin is much more common.

The nickname of this stuff i believe is called "scambled eggs"..also most Persian dope needs to be broken down with something acidic ie;lemon juice....

This information is probably fairly accurate,more so than some of the guessing I am hearing here.
