Changing tittle- it doen't make enough sense. good thread but :)

Cliche yes, but shpongle....

aphex twin + psychedelics = fun time for all!

I especially like "funny little man" which just says shrooms all over it to me.

the song "mesquite" by mu-ziq always makes me picture a really bad acid trip!

The best Aphex tune is Windowlicker, tripping or sober. This is an objective truth.

Other great music to trip to would be complex dub/psydub, Nick Cave, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Queens of the stone age, Sigur Ros, and anything good and ambient (i.e. boards of Canada, Ulrich Shnauss(sp?) etc.

I dunno about window licker man, its alright still but the stuff on selected ambient works 1 and stuff like 'at the heart of it all' on the NiN further down the spiral album have a bit more lasting power.

Tripping has to be Goldie, Bukem and Photek. Modus Operandi, Timeless, Natural Born Killaz ep, Demons Theme, Music etc etc, that stuff is killer.

Any good minimal techno makes excellent trip music, probly the best.

Pendulum - hold your colours, the fat synths sound bomb

Madonna - Ray of Light. This album is awesome for acid... so chill.

lol, Ray Of Light was her best effort to date, me and johnyboy were talking about this the other night on acid, watchign the chris cunningham dvd, forzen etc was as appealing as it was cause she was sort of going for that massive attack/bjork type sound. Shes doing abba covers with funky house beats last time I heard (shakes head).

Id still take homogenic by Bjork over that album any day though, on acid or not.

Ambient has become my tripping music of choice...

Solar Fields makes INCREDIBLE albums for the mindset...
