Cheeky.B (Adelaide)
As Adelaide’s number 1 underground female Dj , Cheeky Bs rise to the top has been a fast yet illustrious one. After bursting onto the scene in 2002 through rush and later the legendary karma@le rox, cheeky has achieved more in this time than what most other jocks would achieve in a career. By not limiting herself to just one music style, sound the rewards came by taking out the 2003 SADMA’s best up and coming dj award (eclipsing a field full of blokes!!) and then in the following years awarded nominations for not only best hard dance dj but also best breaks dj and then taking out best female dj and the diva award in the South Australian hardcore award’s. Her versatility has lead her to be now one of the most busiest and in demand dj’s in Adelaide, holding residencies at karma and altitude @ earth , mojo’s as well as the many parties on offer including Enchanted forest, essence@gateway, and the riverland’s massive handpicked festival where she plays a whole range of styles including hard house , trance , breaks and electro.
On stage Cheeky is once seen never forgotten, a no holds barred set of up for it tunes combined with plenty of crazy antics and dance moves for which she has become well known and well loved for!!!
Dj submission (Adelaide)
A dj on the Adelaide circuit for about 7 years now, subbo’s reputation has built over the years to where he is now considered adelaides number 1 hard trance dj. Starting out as one half of the now infamous hard house duo , the hoover crew, his sound eventually evolved into the harder side of trance, a sound which had all but disappeared in Adelaide but a sound that he would eventually become known for along with his long, smooth and seamless mixing. Rarely these days is there a party in Adelaide which doesn’t have the name Submission on the line up, he has managed to play alongside some of the biggest names in the business at shows like the massive Enchanted festivals, ultraworld , system 6 and adrenaline as well as holding some of the most prized residencies over the years at club nights like Rush, Chemistry, Karma @ le rox and Black Cat/Gateway nightclub. In 2002 subbo also played at several clubs in the uk and finland as well as releasing 2 tunes on the dynamix label – turbulence (with odyssey and devious) and dreams of eternity. He has also received several nominations at the SADMA’s for best hard dance dj of the year. These days subbo’s sets contain a mixture tech, hard and psy trance with a splash of hard house but on the odd occasion has been known to play breaks, electro and really any other form of electronic dance music!!!
DJ Slide (Adelaide)
DJ Slide has been hard at work entertaining the punters in most clubs and bars across Adelaide - picking up momentum at a very quick rate. Whilst Slide, a.k.a Ben Acott - does come from a very strong music background - including 12 years behind a Drum Kit with Adelaide band Vendetta back in the late 1990`s, he has only been spinning vinyl to the masses for a little over 12 months. Landing residencies at peak time at the 3 biggest clubs across Adelaide – a feat. normally reserved for jocks with 10 years under their belt, Slide pumps out a wide spectrum of sounds, including house and dance – with his passion definitely in the harder sounds of trance, psy and hardstyle. His passion is true and strong to the sounds he unleashes on his crowds – and it shows, with Slide having as much fun behind the decks as the clubbers do infront!
Tactic (Adelaide)
Trying his hand at all different styles of dance but striking a chord with the up lifting & driving sounds. After playing at some of the biggest events and along side some of the biggest international names in the industry it is no wonder this man is fast becoming a favourite among the masses. With such shows as One point one, Ultraworld & Enchanted Forest, and even landing a set after superstar Paul Glazby at Tonic, this down to earth and easy going favourite is becoming a well-known name throughout the local dance scene. Setting his sights firmly on the Melbourne scene, he is sure to make an impact. "I think in order to give more, You have to try harder!! Not just mix records, but step out side of your comfort zone and try new things", Don't miss your chance to see this tactically gifted DJ and the chance to see his passion for the music, and with it, watch the people come to life.
