i posted pill report in bluelight2000 incl question for you several days ago.
would temperature of m. reagent affect colour.
5 pills i have tested recently have all gone a clear purple whereas in past was always black with an occasional purple tinge.
could they all be mdea -- any comments.
also tested an unknown prescription pill and got a clear green reaction ????

I don't see the first posting, was is in this section ??
What you describe could actually be another mdxx.
Remember, you can't really distinguish between the mdxx's.
Temperature of the reagent could influence a bit but eventually the color change will be the same.
Optimal testing takes place when the reagent is at room temperature.
For these kind of test results (what you describe) we are working on the new kit.
One that can distinguish between a few mdxx's (not all!).
Hope to have some more news on this issue this week ;-)

OH, and the unknown prescription pill reaction tells you it definitely does not contain an XTC like substance ;-)
Could be anything else.

thx aj.
orig in b/l disc 2000.
i thought m. reagent was only supposed to produce green for 2cb???
if a pres med will do this why might others not produce purple/black thus fooling ez-t.
