I just saw this tonight on PBS, and was amazed--this was probably the best short independent film I've seen, although I'll admit that part of my favorable review is because I can so identify with the comics-obsessed main characters.

It basically is about two teens who become fanatically devoted to a minimalist comic about a guy lost in the ocean on a raft, that has only one thought bubble per issue over the guy's head.

Has anyone else seen this film?

By the by, it will be coming on PBS a few more times in the next couple of days; check your local listings.

yes! i just saw that last night at my friends place while rolling. i thought it was brilliant.

however, i felt the end was a little too abstract to be a great ending. it was funny and all, but i thought him walking into the water on stilts/the other kid with the box on his head was a bit out there

however, all in all, great ideas. also, i really loved the narration in it, it hought it was very good. plus, the sombrero scenes were great!
