what happened to tomorrow when now it’s yesterday
all my time gets bundled up and then it blows away
I used to have a lifetime but now I’m down to none
if I don’t have anything how can I have fun?

I blaze the scars that come from each day
I show what I’ve got but no one will see
so all of these problems come back to me
they come from inside and they come from all around
they come to me silently but scream to me aloud
I used to be alone until I started to dream
now I have nearly everything
the only thing I don’t have is a grasp on reality
but that will just confuse and confine me
