At the height of his career, DJ Frankie Wilde, played by British comedian Paul Kaye (The BBC's 'Dennis Pennis " and 'Two Thousand Acres Of Sky"), suffers the ultimate occupational hazard: he goes completely deaf. Frankie loses his wife, record deal and, most tragically, his music, finally isolating himself in his villa under a pile of self-pity and a mountain of drugs.

But Frankie meets the enchanting Penelope (Beatriz Batarda), who opens him up to a whole new world and reconnects Frankie with the almighty beat that had defined him. Frankie's return to the top of the scene and his eventual disappearance is the stuff of legends.

Saw this last week, and it was fairly good. Great soundtrack, good representations of Ibiza superclubs, and the coke badger was funny as hell

looking forward to this one, opens on friday here i think, paul kaye was on simon mayos radio 5 live show this afternoon, and was talking about how he actually played at manumission, ( albiet for 5 mins, just to get the take) =D

When is this coming to Dallas? why is it that they put movies in L.A. and N.Y. first? pisses me off!!! put them everywhere, is it b/c those are such big cities and they are trying to see if they make money b4 releasing them nationwide, don't get me wrong i love NY and LA, not putting that down, just the bizzz,

i wanna see pete tong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

was fucking hilarious

only things i diddnt like was the fact that they couldnt even try to make it look like coke he was doing. overall the movie was pretty amusing, i found myself cracking up laughing the whole time.

I thought it was at times hilarious, and at other times inspiring. Hell the humor was even inspiring on some levels. Acting and soundtrack are great, with scenes fading in and out with music perfectly. I thought the representation of coke addiction was on another level as well. Honestly, its pushing my top 5 all time. Dont know why, just something about this flick. Love it.

Excellent movie - best I've seen in awhile, actually. Like a modern day "Spinal Tap".

This film is totally a must see. I thought it was really good and the music was bad ass! There seemed to be no slow parts through the movie and the entire movie flowed so well. I wish all dj's got into the music with the fans as much as he did. This is definetly making me make plans to take a trip to ibiza in the next year or so.

late!

this was different than i expected and, as i'm a sucker for a sugary, happy ending, i loved it.
