Nicabate patches & drugs

i'm lookin to quit smoking and start using the Nicabate patches.
i was wondering if i should steer clear of pills & speed whilst i'm using these patches.
Any in information would be grealty appreciated....

all these patches contain is nicotine, the very same chemical you have been taking in via cigarettes for years. it is only the method of delivery which has changed.
one thing you may want to be careful of is the possibility of having too much nicotine, leading to increased heart rate, etc, which when combined with another stimulant like amphetamines could get you into trouble. anecdotal reports i've heard have said its possible for someone to speeding off their nut from the patches, as the amount of nicotine hitting your system is at a different rate to what you are used to.
but essentially, as far as combining with other recreational drugs goes, you are far better off with patches than smoking, as you are ony getting one chemical, nicotine, and not the other 18-something chemicals in a cigarette.
