Huge dope bust in NSW

Police have seized more than 500 cannabis plants in bush locations around Tamworth in northern New South Wales.
A spokesman said over a five day period from February 26, officers from Strikeforce Smoothstone carried out an operation in separate bush locations around Tamworth.
They targeted areas east of Walcha, Nowendoc, Nundle, Manilla and Bendemeer, covering 30 suspected drug plots which had been identified by police intelligence.
A spokesman said the seized plants had an estimated street value of $1.12 million.
