Full body rush a few days after taking E.

This has happened to me twice now, the latest being just last night. It happens one or two nights after taking E's, as I lie in bed in that half awake/half asleep state, where you know you are still awake, yet the mind wanders into the dream state. Both times this has happened I have been having a dream, and the dream leads up to a point which, if it happened to me in reality, I'd have a strong emotional response. The first dream, I saw this ghost, and it moved towards me, and kind of jumped inside me, like Neo jumps inside Hugo Weaving on the Matrix. The second dream I was at the Casino and won a few thousand dollars in a spin on roulette. As both these events occur, instead of the normal human emotion that would be connected with the experience, I had what seems to be, a full body rush of some description. My whole body goes warm, and numb. I can't move my limbs for the minute or two this occurs. My body vibrates slightly, like I'm convulsing. The dream suddenly becomes extremely realistic - it's like I'm really there. It feels like I'm standing up, that I can touch what's around me. I can't speak, I can't move. The whole time the rush is taking place, I am in heaven. It is the most intense feeling I have experienced. After a minute or two, the rush slows down, and I am left with a warm glow for about 10 minutes, which usually sends me asleep. I wake up the next morning feeling completely normal. I', interested to hear if anyone has experience anything like this, or can put forward a suggestion as to what it is. The first time it happened, I thought it may have been just a one off. But now it's happened a second time, I'm convinced it's something to do with residual MDMA, or something of that ilk.

Sounds very familiar, however coincidence or MD related I do not know and wouldn’t want to speculate. But – your experiences sound very similar and can relate to the feeling you are left with.
My first was many years ago before I even experimented with anything. I was sleeping in bed when all of a sudden I was overcome by this huge electrical pulse, that slowly started from my feet and moved up towards my heart. It seemed to last a couple of minutes and scared the absolute living crappers out of me, as I thought I was dying!
I remember trying to scream out for help but my body was totally paralysed; I also had the feeling of cramping in muscles. When this pulse reached my heart it was absolute bliss, I felt total euphoria, however nothing like any substance can make you feel, a sense of total relaxation and almost a connection with a higher level of consciousness. After what seemed about 4-5 minutes, I fell into a deep sleep till morning with a full recollection of the night’s happenings. This first event affected me quite deeply and I believe I had a real connection with something that was so beautiful, yet indescribable. Since then I have had this happen to me another two times, and all being without any influence of any substances.
Treasure it Da~RaVeR, treat it with respect, don’t take it for granted and don’t try to induce it – let it flow as I believe that these experiences mean something and if we could only begin to understand and fully appreciate it – we will be closer to inner peace (which believe it or not we are all seeking in our own way!)
Peace

When our bunch goes out, often when I'll go up to friends and try and talk to them, they are standing there all goose-bumped out and stuff, rushing off their tits (so to speak, i'm sure everyone knows what this looks like) - unable to even really speak. Anyway no matter what I do (or what I eat, shame) I never really seem to rush much at all, certainly not like this, which frustrates them somewhat because they think it doesn't happen to me at all.
Except - it does, just not on googs!! Might sound strange but if I hear a wicked tune, great mix etc.. especially if it's that really trancey kind of music, something that reminds me of a place or event that was good, fun or important somehow, I get awesome prickles on the back of the neck. Goosebumps over both arms and legs, the whole works. It feels fucken awesome and personally I'm glad it happens straight because it's really something to be enjoyed!!
btw: this has absoloutely nothing to do with MDMA consumption for me, it has happened years before all this stuff started and has contunied to happen, whether or not i'm on a break, or going hammer & tong.

Something similar which happens to me is
a couple of days after comsuming X
will be lying in bed trying to sleep just on the brink of sleep then ZAP
seems like an electric shock to the brain n I'll be wide awake again.
Quite odd only happens one or two days after having X and then not all the time.
But yeah I thought I might just share that with you

it could be just psychosomatic, and hopefully it is...
because if it isn't, its probably not that good for your brain...

i've had something similar happen twice, once about 6 months ago and once on saturday night. but both of them were really different. first one i was walking down elizabeth st. from uni on a friday arvo, having pilled at filter on wednesday, listening to my discman, and seriously peeked. i was lurrrving it, walked two full blocks before i felt 'normal' again. didn't really trip me out, cos i really loved it. then on saturday night, after munching friday night, went to bed about 2am after a fewe beers and started getting visuals....which i've never had before. dunno why it could happen, but thye were both reallly weird....

*that* just triggered my memory! after a hammer and waYYy to much crystal meth/ ice FUCK knows.. i had a pretty shit night anyway and was having trouble dealing with almost anything for the next week, 4 nights no sleep when i shut my eyes terrible visions and shit
frown.gif
anyway by the end of the week i decided to get DRUnk VERY drunk..
3 bottles of wine later, i was getting eye wiggles, hot flushes, jaw chattering... major loss of balance and sight.. ALL the effects of how i felt on too much meth... plus the alcohol... it was like the alcohol somehow confused the fuck out of my brain and body and thought i was on LOads of drugs again.. a relapse.. ive never heard of this happening before.

It is believed that MDMA and similar drugs inhibit the reuptake of Dopamine (the drug your brain spits out into your blood when you do something reinforcing eg. food for a hungry person, sex for a horny one etc), and strengthen the effectivenedd of the circuits that use this substance. Thus you are left with lots more of it just hanging around in your brain and are lots more sensitive to it.
I guess what you are feeling is the natural happiness of winning lots of money etc. so your body releases the dopamine, and the residual effects of the e are still hanging around to make it that much better.
Have had similar experiences, like full body e flashbacks......lots of fun! Go with it and enjoy (extra fun, and all for the one low price!)

A little different to the above posts but suits the heading. If i take a whole lote of MDMA over a period of a couple of days, i find that the next 2-3 days my body is sensitive to certain reactions.
For example, I was driving at a high speed 2 days after a huge weekend and I went to slip between 2 cars at a dangerous angle. I knew i was going to make it, but it was going to be a tight squeeze as i was about to pull the manouver, my eyes rolled back and and had a 1 second rush!
That is just one example. Its happened quite a few times. Whenever i get excited/panic. interesting?

You need to get your head checked mate...this is some real sad shit.
I cant believe how far some people try and draw out their E experience...its horrendous.
Heres my honest advise: by a pill, munch the pill, come up for 30 mins, peak for 2 hours, and then its over. Once the peaks over, the pill is OVER. Either buy another one, or forget about it.
Dont go rushing around 5 days later...its really unfashionable. And being fashionables what its all about right? I mean, isnt E cool these days?

Rashen, why even bother writing stuff like that anyway? Is it cool too?

I've had a similar experience but it wasnt an effect or reaction from e and it certainly wasnt euphoric.
i've had a couple of scary/bad experiences with drugs. i remember one night, ages after i'd consumed any drugs at all, i was half asleep and kind of dreaming. in my dream i was in bed trying to get to sleep and i'd just eaten 5 pills and smoked heaps of weed though i dont know why i dreamt about this since at this stage i'd barely eaten any pills at all and rarely smoked weed.
anyway, at the time i thought i was awake, fully dosed up on pills and weed, but trying to sleep (who knows why i would have been trying to sleep if i'd had five pills!) anyway, in this 'dream' i felt THE most intense rush i have ever felt, it was soooooooo scary, my brain was bombarded with paranoid thoughts about dying, my vision (in this 'dream) went completely fucked, everything was black and pulsating, my heart rate was soooooo elevated, i thought i was going to die.
so in my dream i started banging on the walls and screaming for my parents to call an ambulance. but when i screamed i couldnt speak, and when i banged on the walls they looked like jelly or something and my hand couldnt forcefully hit them, instead they made circular ripples like throwing a stone into water in slow motion, and my hand bounced off.
it was sooooooo fucking scary, i woke up and didnt know whether it had happened or not.
anyway, there's my story if u could have been bothered to read it.
cant remember what my point was. so anyway.. uh...yeah... seeya..

Rashen: Yes, everyone here is entitled to their own view and opinion. Da-Raver experienced something AFTER his roll and is simply ASKING about it. To my knowledge he did not ask or mention anything about INDUCING it. And Jaff is SHARING his thoughts and what happened to him. CONSTRUCTIVE comments is what is needed here. not

After reading your post, this three things came to mind and it may help you in future posts.
1) "Is this person a troll? I hope not, he seems to have good ideas but why is he/she such a little F*** at expressing his/her ideas?"
2) "When you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything"
3)"If you keep your mouth shut, no one will say that you are stupid or ignorant."
Remember, CONSTRUCTIVE critism put forth in a non offensive manner.
Oh yeah, all that on top, its all IMHO.

Interesting.... i've had a couple of full body rush experiences... most memorable was the last one. It was mid-week after a typical weekend
smile.gif

I was in a bit of a daze when i got into my works lift to go home. Just as the doors were about to close the head of my 400 person company jumps in. I tried to snap myself out of the daze and focus coz i knew he'd start a conversation with me.
At that point i got an awesome rush starting in my spine and going all over... it lasted a second or two... and i was weak at the knees and could barely stand. I fudged my way through some pointless chit chat and got the hell outta there
smile.gif

No need to be like that Rashen Dog, i was talking about my experiences. Grow up!

Now that you mention it, a weird (but really cool!!) thing happened to my buddy after rolling last week. After coming down we decided to get scatter-drunk, as we often do
smile.gif
Well, after one beer my buddy looks at me, eyes WIIIIDE open, and, with difficulty, says "o...o... omygod!!! i'm peakin off my tits!!!! again!!!". I asked him about it after and he said it was just as strong as a proper roll!! We've done this quite a few times but he's never had a reacting like that. I'm so jealous!!
smile.gif

Anyone else had an experience like this? Or does anyone have an explanation?
