Anybody knows on how Synephrine works. The makers of Cortislim want you to believe that Synephrine is more selective than (although structurally similar to) sudafed/ephedra/caffeine in terms of adrenogenic system and does not affect heart and blood pressure. Anybody knows more on this?

Synephrine = Phenylephrine, which is like, an old-school pharmacology 101, atrial tissue bath preparation drug.

It is an alpha1 receptor agonist.. so it doesn't really have much effect on the heart, it just causes blood vessels to contract (which could cause an effect on the heart at large enough doses).

So, its not an indirect agonist like the amphetamines and ephedrine (partially)... it's a direct alpha1-adrenoreceptor agonist.

Synephrine is Octapamine right?
While phenylephrine is neo-synephrine

synephrine is N-methyl-Octopamine

it has a mild effect on fat loss and certainly is not a replacement for the effective amine it was trying to replace, ephedrine, by any means
