There is a question to follow, but first I have to check that I'm not just completely wrong.
Would I be right in assuming that it is not illegal to produce XTC in Holland etc?
Because If it is legal, would the manufacturers of such pills as Mitsubishi's & ck's etc be in big trouble from the real companys for using their copyrighted logo?
Just a though...
But I am probably just completely off..

its illegal to produce MDMA, MDEA or 2CB in the netherlands. the only difference between our laws and theirs is that personal possesion and use is effectively not a crime.
as to why most of our goodies come from there... well a lot of different reasons. maybe aj could fill us in.

as for the copyright infringement, an illegal lab that got busted recently had over 400 different pill stamps and major corporations such as Nike and Mitzibishi are in fact sueing the poor labs guys for illegal use of copyrighted trademarks.

Thank you

Thats exactly what I was getting at..

It isn't legal to make E in the Netherlands, but the chemicals that you need to make them are more readily availble there.
Also the police turn more of a blind eye to certain things, especially if the right notes are waved under their noses.

Actually no drugs are legal in netherlands cept pot. The law that lets people take a few more drugs is called the law of ommission or something, which basically give the cops the right to pursue drugs they think are more important. I think you could be right bout the possesion thing tho.
Shrooms have been sold OTC there but are fully illegal to sell.
As for copyright thats silly!!

Jb,, if I'm hearing correctely MDMA MDEA and 2CB are Illegal but MDA isn't mentioned,,,was that a typo or is mda unscheduled in nl?
and as for copyright infringement,,,how does that take money away from the companies,,,it's not a competing product with the same label

Well all I can say is that if major companies like nike, mitsibishi or cK do try and sue drug manufacturers for copyright breach and the penalties are financial then it would be a major PR fuckup - that would mean that they profited out of drug - use.
Really the only thing they could do is to claim financial penalties, then direct that same money to drug education and rehabilitation centres. If a cent went into their own pockets the media would and should crucify them!

Maybe these corperations are behind the whole thing. How long is it gonna be before i see a pill with a daewoo logo on it - lol
If they can sell a car for $12000 drive away no more to pay with 3 years servicing they will go broke. They need other incomes.
Oh and when are we going to see the "channel 10" logo on a pill - who are there adds aimed at i wonder.
Basically all i am saying is these companies whose logo is on a pill get a farking excellent deal - the company i work for spends $25 per cuctomer a year on marketing to get people through the door. Now if a pill had our company logo on it and went to 1 million peaple thats $25 000 000 worth of free marketing.
If I ever start a business myself I am gonna send a message up the supply chain in reverse to get my logo on a pill.

- that maybe what nike and mitsi do now with a bit of cash on the side.
Sorry if anybody doesn't like me taking this approach but i think way too much....

fucking good point smurf...
it would be like the recent feature on tv on gambling, with that lady who was head of "gaming and gambling" or whatever in NSW, who said it was a point of debate whether it was ok for the casino to take dirty money that was obviously proceeds of heroin trade, as part of it went back to the government in taxes.
She was cleaning out her desk the very next day......

Acid reign: It doesnt matter whether the product is a competing product or not. If it uses the label, then it is copywrite infringement. Also, and this is stricly legal, because most people have common sense, but nike, for example, would suggest that by naming pills with thier symbol on it, that they are promoting drug use, or that the pills are taking credibility away from the company. Now, this is a grey area, because drugs are illegal, therefore I would be interested to hear the whole report on this. Poor guy, I feel sorry for him. But think about this: If a major corporation can sue a drug maker, can the owner of the original batch of mitza's sue all the scum that copied it?? hehehe, would make for an interesting court case!!!

Better still, how 'bout a pill called "Anna Wood" with the picture that they used in all the newspapers & R.I.H. (Rest In Hell) on the back. You'd go to your DD & ask "have you got any pills?" He'd reply "I've got these tasty litle suckers!" You'd say "Would you take them?" And he'd reply "No, but Anna Wood!" You say "Gimme 3 then!"

...and let this one be a thread about the original subject.
oh and sorry that was a typo, well more of an ommission, MDA is scheduled in the etherlands as well...
