Why Phase Dancer Rules!!
Yes it is very easy to state the blatantly obvious "Phase Dancer rules", "you're such an asset to the board" etc. But I think we should do a critique of why he is so valued.
In my studies of chemistry I have found that most who are a part of the profession, at most levels are quite conservitive and do not wish to touch the subject of illecit drugs with a ten foot pole. Walking gingerly around the subject, all I've asked have never even heard of the availability (or unavailability) of reagent testing kits or HM organisations.
Phase Dancer KNOWS HIS CHEMISTRY and anyone who wants a clue should listen and ask questions (sorry if I'm making more work for you PD 8)). There are others who also are well versed in the field including Nano Brain, Alpha Numeric(mods ecstacy diss) and Biscuit to name a few. But Phase Dancer will go the extra mile to ensure a concept of chemistry is thoroughly explained and no confusion results.
A perfect example of this is the recent isomers of MDMA. The thread originaly started as a question of the valancies of MDMA, the enquiry coming for someone with little idea of chemistry who had heard of it on the street. Most, including myself, would have pointed out the correct meaning of the term, possibly hint about strutural isomerism and that an isomericly pure product off the street is unlikly. But not PD he goes and thoroughly explains the difference and proceeds to give a lecture on chirality and strucural isomerism, how and why it occurs with full diagrams relating it back to the structure of MDMA. With lot of posts thanking him and stating how wonderful he is (BT even offered to have his children =)), his last post replys to that with:

He also was more than helpful to me in answering quite a few questions I had in regards to thin layer chromatography and its limitations in more comprehensive qualitative analysis of pill contents.
With such an exhaustive knowledge of chemistry, so meticulous in his communication and well researched I was kind of suprised to find out how plury he can be, offering a kind word and advise of much wisdom to those in need of it. Oh, also...he is never condesending. That must be an awful temptation with so much knowledge.
Phase Dancer you are the scientific backbone on Ausralian Drug Discussion if not Bluelight and great person to have on the board!! :D

I think it should be kept in Aus DD so that people who might use the board for info (and perhaps don't venture into Social) have a better chance to be made aware that they should really take time to read PD's posts and take heed instead of getting a quick answer (maybe the one there're looking for) and heading for the hills.
