Xanax Potentiation

I'm pretty new here so I'm not sure where this thread would belong, but I had a question in regards to using Cimetidine to potentiate Alprazolam. I recently purchased a box of 200mg Cimetidine tablets and wasn't sure on how many to take to potentiate Xanax. Also, how long do I ingest them before taking the Xanax? Another question would be how much would it actually potentiate the actual benzo? I have had 1mg Xanax prescribed to be for over 6 months now and I can take 5 of them at once and barely feel anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just don't want to go through all of my Alprazolam and barely get any effect from them.
