Why read the writings of men
who can't find any answers?
Who died
alone, with words
of beauty and vision
and who saw - nothing
but the heart
and, going beyond the marking,
but stopping there
could not entertain
such burdens
Hemingway's lonesome, sitting in the corner
wondering where his woman went
and he's ramblin' about something that he tried to warn her
The poor man looks so spent
He's drinking gin, and then, he tears down my banisters
