Stimulants WHY does water+meth from stem turn out brown???

So I have been wondering this since I started shooting this shit long time ago. When I had nothing else to shoot, I would mix the stuff left in the stem with water and it would come back with a brown tint. Kinda like heroin. There wouldn't be any dark or burnt stuff mixed with it either. Just mixing something completely white with something totally clear comes back brown. Why?? Thank you

I'm not 100% whatsoever so don't take this as fact but, my guess would have to be res left over inside the bowl from the cut. After you scrap your shit out I'd clean the bowl nice n good afterwards just so not so much of it coats the stem, maybe?

Don't smoke the stuff you collect with water, ever. Its got a bunch of new minerals thanks to the water and they aren't smokable.

Just collect into a pill capsule and eat, or snort the stuff and you'll have no problems.
