so ive been reading about loperamide (imodium) for when going through withdrawals to help with stomach pains. and on drugs dotcom it says subutex have moderate interactions. can anyone give insight on this? because i plan on taking small doses of subutex when i get off + xanax to help sleep. (not at same time)

Loperamide has opioid effects so it's probably listed as having interactions with any other opioids.

If that's the only reason why I wouldn't take it to mean much. It's probably just indicating that loperamide and opioids can both cause constipation and compound on each other. Stuff like that.

Or so id assume.

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you're planning on taking subutex, then surely you won't need loperamide?

i will only take it for a few days and small doses to help WD go smoother.

Still dont follow, sorry. When are you planning on using the loperamide? Before, during or after the subutex?

Just need to point out that subutex is designed to alleviate withdrawal. Loperamide isn't. It also comes with a whole host of undesirable side effects.
