Why are they disallowed

Why're legal questions disallowed, surely one doesn't have to reply. But wouldn't it be sort of along the lines of harm reduction if someone is in serious trouble? Perhaps the site could offer a list of numbers rather than just SHUT THISE QUESTIONS DOWN?

Bluelight aren't lawyers and in these matters could be culpable for bad/erroneous advice. I don't think Bluelight can afford such responsibility.
