I feel shrooms are harder to find than most drugs.
Why are shrooms so hard to find in Southern California

Come to Ontario...we have too many. Though, I guess British Columbia is closer and they have too many as well, from what I can tell.
Is this a constant issue? I feel like there are dry periods in shroom production at times.

This is a connection issue, not an availability issue (well I guess it's not available to you..). I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass but with the culture of SoCal there is very likely a fair amount of mushroom about if you know where to look.
Mushrooms though are just like any other psychedelic drug, they come and they go. Very few people actually make selling psychs their job, it's usually someone having the off opportunity to buy a good quantity then they tell their friends. Now if most of your friends are these types this helps staying connected haha.
