WHOA! I found some of my deep poems! They're pretty good...

I know, I know. This should go into the poetry forum, but I wanna post here, K?

These aren't very recent, about a year old, but they brought back memories and helped me (and a friend) get through some tough times.

*You Think So?*
You have such beautful eyes
Yet I always see them crying.
Your skin, once glowing and radiant
Now hides under the burden of sorrow.
You reach for help with pleading cries
But it seems to backfire
So you think....
He tells you he'll change but
You've heard that one before.
He tries to justify his sadness
Yet the burden lies on you.
He thinks no one understands him so
He says he'll change his ways
So you think....
No one has ever seen you like this.
It's tearing you apart.
You wonder how it's gonna end,
Or if you want it to.
You question yourself
As if you are stuck with nowhere to turn,
So you think....
You once reached closure
It may have happened more than you think.
Making a decision is the hard part
But acceptance will swallow you whole.
Thinks happen for a damn good reason and
If you think this is cruel and unusual punishment
Think again.
Ok, last one!

As I ponder of my being
I sit in solace by my lonesome.
My heart, unrequitted,
Bears the love of souls remembered.
Engaged in a spiritual war of right and wrong
My body yearns to feel at peace.
The torments from within ascend
to the outer world for all to see...
But soon these torments will perish.
I carry the burden of loss under
My pseudo-happy perception of reality.
I breathe the fire of my self-initiated wrath
But love still burns in my heart.
It WILL shine again
Like an angel's silky hair.
It is a virtue I keep near.
As for now I can only surrender to
myself.
To love myself,
is all I have to give.

I'm down wit you on that idea _ONE. Your words convey tha mellancholy, not sure what to do attitude that I have DEFINATELY felt in tha past.
I also dig anyone who uses the word *pseudo*
Now on with the poetry:
*Room*
In a room more lovely than beauty ever seen,
on an ivory stand, kept ever so pristine,
stood a heart full of love so pure and clean,
on an ivory stand, kept so pristine.
The entrance kept under lock and key,
such a fragile heart had never been seen,
anxiously it waits,peaceful and serene,
to look in the eyes of a love meant to be.
Oh optimistic heart, decieved in the past.
You thought it was love, you thought it would last.
She opened the door, she came in here so fast.
You thought is was love , you thought it would last.
At first it seemed like a dream come true,
what a beautiful soul, bringing light to your room,
and then out of nowhere the trouble would brew,
accomplished by her, made for you.
So, she's a wild child, unbridled and free,
she's captured the hearts of everybody,
Especially you, especially me.
She's reckless young heart, you just can't see,
and neither can she.

*Blind*
I was there when you said to me
You make me feel like I'm on e
Your smiling blue eyes sparkled brightly
Blinding me.
I was there when you held me tight
Took me over without a fight
Covering my body, my heart, my mind, my sight
As clouds block out the sunlight.
I was there when you held my hand
Flew me away to never never land
But you left me there alone on the sand
Unlike I planned.
I was there when the sparkle vanished from your eyes
Instead I searched in them for lies
Yet believing still your alibis
So hard loves tries.
I WASN'T there when excuses you made
I was there when you always stayed.
I WASN'T there when we never talked
I was there when our eyes would lock.
I WASN'T there when you made me feel small
I was there when you did call.
I WASN'T there when you hurt me most
I was only there when you held me close.
I am here now and I am mine
No longer you possess my mind
The clouds roll back, the sunlight I find:
I was there, but I was blind.
Just thought that was kinda appropriate to add.
