Which drug is yesca?

I have heard Chicano people use the word yesca to refer to a drug. Which drug does this word mean?

I am not going to ask them since they are the thug, cholo, homie, vato types in gangs they and might assume that by asking this I'm a narcotics undercover or a snitch even though I am not any of these things. I'm Spanish and I have never heard this word before.

It's weed but only chicanos use this word as Mexicans use mota or other terms.

For what it's worth, they're Cuban (except for DJ Muggs), not Mexican.
