For everyone in all times
There are a lot of pivotal moments in life when we are lost in our own wasted mourning.
Clocked to arise to what's eating us?
A break so fast to weave unto me and you - as for the moment\
We're something else?

Then there were other days
I remember when you used to call me on the phone.
Do you remember when?
You promised I'd be the last person you would call:
If your brain started melting.

For this last while.
Quite awhile, depending how you frame it and how far back you go.
I've risen day and day out to some abject depression
My brain's melting itself, but I have no cell to dial you in.
I've lost your number.

And now
I feel the vultures encircling around my existence
Creations of my own vision
To envision onto some, and they return to digest.
I'm being eaten alive without you, and I'm the forager.

But maybe some day
When I can settle down
Whether that's to some bed I'll lay to die in (without you, my love)
Or to a new bed of health and embittered wisdom to survive and thrive
Maybe then, I can exist without you peacefully

But as it stands again, coming back to the now
For this last while too when I've missed you so
There were other days then - we've already had
For everyone and both of us, in all our times.
That should be enough.

As life comes full circle
So will us

It may be hard to move on up from here,
But to move on hard up
I hear it may be from..
here we go
