When did the Left forget about the weak, the poor, the ordinary?

BLM finalized the plan of elites.

Now no one cares about the unprivileged, but about people's skin color, and lately also sexuality and sex has become important factors.
Shouldn't we fight for the unprivileged as a whole, not dividing them in groups based on skin color or anything?

If we eradicated the reasons that make people suffer in general because of the system, wouldn't it also help those special groups now targeted?
Wo-hoo, 100k in a year charging top university now gives more priority to black people in selection, good to see those homeless addicts finally getting into university. :)

It's not relevant do I care or not, and yes I do. That's why this feels so bad. Because I care more of the people than my own social status.
Yeah, pretty fascist and racist to think that all people are equal and the systemic errors are rooted somewhere deeper.

> BLM is a line of code
In a multi-decade long suite. We all have a different name for em. I still like Blue Man Group / Analrapists Inc

You don't give a fuck.

Also, the left cares about all people (unlike the right who only care about straight, white, wealthy men). The reason certain groups are talked about more at certain times is when that group in particular need of help/care/defending.
Like, currently I'd say I support Trans Rights more so than other marginalized groups, not because I care more or think they matter more, but because they are currently more in need of our support than say the LGB part (for which things are very much improving, though still have a way to go) or BLM (which also has a long way to go, but which has had a LOT of attention since circa George Floyd).
Particularly, trans women of colour are being murdered in some places at rates of FORTY TIMES that of cishet white people.

When the fates of the weak, the poor, the ordinary stopped being the primary moral bait of socialism.

It was never anything but a scam, using moral bait to lure the masses into totalitarian systems to the detriment of almost everyone. The industrialization of death, poverty and tyranny under a ridiculously thin veneer of good, only believed by the tragically and fatally stupid. Biggest evil on the planet.

First they fooled idiots with feigned sympathy for the working class poor and killed millions. Now they've modernized themselves slightly in order to not be recognizable as straight-up genocidal communism. Its image was, aherm, slightly tainted after all the senseless death and ruin. Therefore they started using feigned sympathy for various proxies for working class poor instead, which is of course even dumber. How can anyone not see through this lazy ass maneuver?

the left didn't. i think a lot of people, mostly but not exclusively from north america, don't actually know what left/right wing actually means.

i did not support him (i'm a centrist) but check out the policies jeremy corbyn was standing on for PM of the UK. our shadow chancellor read from Mao's little red book in fucking parliament.

eta: BLM isn't really a thing outside of the US so you should probably qualify your use of the term 'the left' with 'the US interpretation of the left.' north americans need to learn they aren't the be all and end all and in fact are a small proportion of the global population with pretty young governing structures.
